My name is Jennifer and I’m a Korean American potter. I make limited collections of wheel thrown, altered, and hand built works, often stretching the limits of clay, hoping to create a sensorial experience. I use non traditional and traditional techniques, informed by my time in Japan, Hawai’i, and my immersive childhood in South Korea. My longing to honor the memory of my mother is steadily at the center of my work.
